Most notably, it includes a built-in countdown timer. The ideal application of this device is that one would plug such things as cell-phone chargers into it - we all have a few around the house. They constantly use energy, even when they're not charging anything. When plugged into the WattSaver, when the phone needs a charge, you plug it in to its charger & then hit the countdown button - like a snooze bar on an alarmclock. In, say, an hour, the powerstrip will turn itself off thereby stopping your trickle waste of electricity.
It also features built in USB power ports, for those devices which can be recharged that way to further reduce electricity waste.
